Guest House Ouka - Takayama

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. Please pay in cash or by card upon check-in. Guests under 12 years old are exempt from the lodging tax.

Located an 8-minute walk from JR Takayama Station, Guest House Ouka offers accommodation in Takayama. Free WiFi is available inareas, and guests can enjoy free coffee on the ground floorday.

All rooms at Ouka Guest House have air conditioning and heating. A shared bath room is located on the ground floor.

Guests will find a shared kitchen and a shared lounge at the property. The kitchen comes with an induction stove, a fridge, an electric kettle and a microwave. Condiments, utensils, tea and coffee are provided in the kitchen as well. There are 3 computers, lockers and a vending machine for guests use in the common areas. Takayama Old Town and Miyagawa Morning Market are a 10-minute walk, while Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village is a 10-minute drive away from Guest House Ouka. The property is a 8-minute walk from Takayama Nohi Bus Centre,guests can take a bus to Shirakawa Village.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 10:00.

The front desk is closed between 21:00 and 8:00.
Please inform the property in advance If you are planning to check in after 21:00 or check out before 8:00. Late check-in fees apply after 21:00 (500yen per person from 21:00 to 23:00, 1,000yen per person after 23:00).
Please contact the property in advance if you plan to arrive later than 21:00; otherwise, the front door will be locked at 21:00.

The shared bathrooms are available 15:00-23:00 and 06:00-11:00.

Kindly note that the hallway lights will partially be turned off at 21:00. The lights at the lounge will be turned off at 23:00.

Children can be accommodated only in Japanese-Style Standard Room and Japanese-Style Superior Room.

Children aged 0-6 years can stay free of charge when using existing bedding.

Children aged 0-6 years incur an additional charge of JPY1,000 per night when using extra beds.

Additional beds for children cannot be guaranteed unless arranged in advance at least one day before your stay.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time.
